A prayer based on the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in Heaven
In whose name we meet
Hallowed be thy name
In all we do here today
Thy Kingdom come
Through this meeting
Thy will be done
By this group of your servants
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
Our needs for this meeting
Of inspiration and resources
And forgive us our trespasses
Our falling short of all we could do and be,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
Those who will not work with us,
Help us to forgive and understand.
Lead us not into temptation
Guide us in the straight path toward Thy goal,
But deliver us from evil,
The errors and self interest
Already entrenched in our minds and hearts.
For thine is the Kingdom,
Reign here among us O Lord our God,And the power,
Send thy might into our midst, O Lord our God,
And the Glory,
we worship and adore Thee, O Lord our God.
